CHICAGO — The adventures of Pookie & Ray Ray continue. Leah Gordone released the cold case documentary of gravid postal worker Kierra Coles who mysteriously disappeared in October 2018. The abduction transpired in Chicago, Illinois. Surveillance footage shows Kierra, 26, with her presumed baby daddy — Josh Simmons — prior to vanishing. They were at Walgreens around 11 p.m. withdrawing hundreds of dollars from an ATM. It’s the last time Kierra was seen alive. “I didn’t understand why she would be taking $400 out because she’s really cautious with spending,” said Kierra’s mom, Karen Phillips. Josh, who’s in a relationship with his other baby mama, was interrogated. But not arrested. Kierra was three months preggo. Her car was parked on the same block as her apartment, with her cell phone and purse inside. The Chicago Police Department and the U.S. Postal Service are still investigating. But family members want the FBI involved. “Can’t nobody imagine the pain that I go through daily,” Karen said. “Missing my child, not hearing her voice, not knowing if she had her child. Not knowing if she’s suffering every day.”

Social media reaction was fierce. One commenter wrote, “The boyfriend did it.” Another chimed in with, “If only she received the same amount of attention as Carlee Russell. That’s why we can’t afford to lie.” A third person added, “I always said it was the boyfriend. He didn’t want no baby and he had a baby mama already. They moved out of state after this girl went missing.” Homicide detective Will Svilar studied every minute of the case and he still don’t have a f*ckin’ clue what happened. “She’s living a great life. She’s going to have a baby. She’s gainfully employed. She is an upstanding citizen who was living a nice life who all of a sudden disappears,” he said.

Law enforcement officials are offering a $70,000 reward.

Josh and his baby mama skipped town shortly after Kierra came up missing.

  15. To go to the ATM twice back to back as if she didn’t Withdraw enough money the 1st time so he sent her back the second time and she’s seen handing him Money then he shows up at her Apartment the next Day without her. Boy oh boy even a 5yr old can figure this1 out🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

  17. How could you not arrest the boyfriend? He went with her to an ATM and gave money to him. He lied about having a key to her apartment. He didn’t volunteer to help in finding her and he moved out of town with his kids mother.

    He had many reasons to hurt or kill her…number one, he didn’t want the baby. Two, he probably wanted her to get an abortion and she said that she wanted to keep the baby. Three he would have had to pay child support for a baby he didn’t want. Four, Kierra probably told him to stop dealing with the other kids mother. He refused and/or lied about still dealing with her and then it caused problems for him, because he wanted to have his cake and eat it too.

    Kierra already had a confrontation with his kid’s mother.

    This whole case is bogus. Did they dust for fingerprints at her apartment, the car. What about the surveillance of them at the ATM? What was the time stamp on that? They went to the ATM at Walgreens on 75th and State Street. Did the police question the boyfriend as to why she took out $400.00 since he was with her? I’m sure that he got a cut of the money if not all of it. 🤔

    I pray that this family finds closure soon. This is reminiscent to the Bradley Sisters who disappeared 22 years ago. 😢🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

  37. This can be easily solved. She’s pregnant by a man she dated for 6 years, but once she goes meeting he instantly moves out of town with the mother of his kids. Cellphone pings can possibly solve this case. See if his phone and her phone were both pinging from the same location.

  38. I am glad they are not letting this case die, but everything is pointing toward the boyfriend. I’ve heard the mother on radio, when it first happened. She stated that he was not cooperating with the police. He hired an attorney, then moved out of town. During their courtship, he also had babies by other women. I think LE is trying to get more evidence. PLEASE DON’T ALLOW THIS CASE TO DIE.

I know exactly what Kierra’s family is going through because my cousin (turned 24 on 7/10/22)has been missing since 7/12/22 after spending the night at her boyfriend’s house and never to be seen again. She’s presumed dead because forsenic investigators found blood spatter in his house and video of her entering his apartment and none with her leaving; however, he has yet to say what he did or where her body is. My aunt cries daily. Pray that Kierra’s family get the closure that they desperately seek and if that boyfriend has any thing to do with her disappearance, I pray that guilt will overwhelm him so he has no other choice than to speak.

  42. Why don’t the family hire a private investigator to go after the boyfriend and the baby momma?

  43. Chicago messed around with this case from start to finish. When you know that the boyfriend was the last person seen with her and then leaving town when she disappears. Then Kierra was said to have problems with his other baby mama who also worked at the post office it’s plausible that those two killed her and took her to a chop shop or placed her in a dumpster. Ppl are getting more creative in disposing of bodies but the FBI should have questioned these postal workers and gave them polygraph tests.

They need to analyze his car because im sure he did something to her and once he got his car back from her place he went back to where he put her at and placed her into his car and drove and put her somewhere between the state they lived in and the baby mama house i bet if they search the route he took to get to the baby mama house they’ll find her
