ATLANTA — First, a white pastor in Iowa released a rap video called “Jesus Christ is my N*gga.” Now this. A viral video shows a quartet of curvaceous popsies performing “Drop It Low For Jesus” on IFC’s Sherman’s Showcase. Many are calling it the sexiest Christian conception ever. Not sure if the ladies were serious or joking. But their choreography is nothin’ short of seductive and the lyrics go: “Drop it low for Jesus. Keep the Lord in mind, when you Dutty Wine, drive to drop it for Jesus. In the club, shake it to the floor and show him love. I’m on the grind. Because for my sins, he died. ‘Cause I know, I’ll be at the pearly gates fo’ sho. I’ll be in the number when the trumpets start to blow. But tonight I gotta drop it low.” Social media reaction was Icy Hot. One commenter wrote, “We are living in the day where people will mock and scorn anything pertaining to Jesus😢.”

Another person chimed in with, “Now I’m ready to go to church.😂😂😂” A third viewer added, “Absolute filth and blasphemy. People have no respect or consecration for what is sacred and holy. Black America is living out the rebellion seen in the Bible of Israel throughout scripture,” to which another observer replied, “Only thing they need to be dropping is them knees at the altar to repent.”
