MILWAUKEE — The adventures of Pookie & Ray Ray continue. Darnell Kimble, 29, was thrown in the slammer after he murdered his girlfriend, 31-year-old Cherron Miller, during a lover’s spat. The femicide transpired at Darnell’s residence on September 12, 2019 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. According to Darnell’s mother, who witnessed the crime, Cherron and her son got into an argument. As the quarrel intensified, Darnell told Cherron to get the f*ck out of his apartment and she left. When babygirl returned to get her things, Darnell cussed her out again. When Cherron swung at him, the emotional thug pulled out a gun and opened fire — shooting her in the arm and abdomen. Cherron was rushed to the hospital where she died. She leaves behind four children. Darnell, who has a rap sheet comparable to Charles Manson’s, was arrested and charged with first-degree reckless homicide and possession of a firearm by a felon.
But, on the day of the trial in 2020, because snitches get stitches, Darnell’s mom didn’t show up in court to testify and the case was dismissed. Her son became a free man. Ain’t that a bitch? Cherron’s family was pissed. “The ball was dropped for justice for my daughter,” said Jacqueline Brinson, Cherron’s mother. “He literally shot and murdered my daughter, and he’s walking free. Free as me and you, and she’s no longer with us.”
The good news is three years later, prosecutors refiled the charges.
They didn’t say why.
But a warrant was issued for Darnell’s arrest.
Justice is finally being served.
“She was just an outgoing person, and I’m really going to miss her,” said Polly Cobbs, Cherron’s BFF.
“She has beautiful children that are really going to miss her.”
Social media reaction was venomous.
One commenter wrote, “It’s sad, but her kids now have a better chance of having a more productive life and becoming decent adults. Because, mentally, she wasn’t right.”
Another chimed in with, “I thought she was a man.”
A third person added, “That’s a female pookie for real 💯.”
