KANSAS CITY — “Tis the postseason to be jolly. Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la.” Our repeat Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs have teamed up with Hallmark to create a new, original Christmas movie, titled “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story” — starring Tyler Hynes, Hunter King and Ed Begley Jr. Yessir. The Chiefs are the first franchise in NFL history to get their own holiday special. It’ll be released sometime around Thanksgiving and I’d imagine Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift will be featured kissing underneath the mistletoe. Hell, wouldn’t surprise me if they copulate too. I envision Travis bustin’ nuts all up in that bussy this Christmas. “We are honored to partner with Hallmark on a project as unique as this,” said Chiefs president Mark Donovan. “As a club, we pride ourselves on exploring new ways to grow our brand, as well as connect with new audiences. This partnership unites two passionate fanbases and gives us an opportunity to show Chiefs Kingdom’s energy and tradition on one of the most-watched channels during the holiday season.”

Here’s the synopsis according to Arrowhead Pride: “Alana Higman (played by Hunter King) is sure that her family’s lifelong history as Kansas City Chiefs superfans makes them a frontrunner to win the team’s ‘Fan of the Year’ contest. Derrick (played by Tyler Hynes), Director of Fan Engagement, is tasked with evaluating how Alana and her family stack up against the other two finalists. As the pair spends time together, it’s clear there’s a spark between them but when her grandfather’s (played by Ed Begley Jr.) vintage Chiefs, good luck winter hat goes missing, Alana begins to doubt everything she believed about fate, destiny and even questions her future with Derrick – unless, that is, a little Christmas magic can throw a Hail Mary.”

Awww, ain’t that cute.

  1. You know you’re big time when your team partners with Hallmark for a Christmas movie….pretty sure we were only on the fringe up until this announcement

  2. The obvious question is will Taylor Swift be in it? And will it be available on blu-ray?
