HOUSTON — The adventures of Pookie & Ray Ray continue. Nicholas Finley, 34, was thrown in the slammer after he shot and killed his girlfriend, 29-year-old Merseana Struggs, because she wouldn’t share remuneration. The femicide transpired on July 19, 2024 outside of Merseana’s apartment building in Houston, Texas. According to police reports, Nicholas learned Merseana earned boatloads of mazuma via OnlyFans — selling pornographic visuals of her derrière, embonpoint and feet. Nicholas implored Merseana to give him a cut of the revenue. When she declined, he tried to beat her ass. A distraught Merseana took off running through the complex in an attempt to escape. She tried to get inside someone’s car but it was locked. So she kept on running until she finally collapsed. Nicholas stood over her, pulled out a pistol, and emptied the clip.
Then he grabbed Merseana’s purse and sped off in her vehicle.
When police arrived, they found Merseana’s cadaver riddled with bullets. Nicholas didn’t get far. He was eventually arrested and charged with capital murder. Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez released the following statement: “Intimate Partner violence is a national epidemic. Here locally, in unincorporated Harris County, intimate partner murders account for about 35% of all murders this year. Love shouldn’t hurt. It’s important to recognize the signs of abuse and take action against violence against women. We truly need to take a stand together, collaborate, and work together to ensure that individuals who may not want to reach out or seek out services know better ways to plan for their safety and to know more about the resources available to them. For anyone affected by family or intimate partner violence, there is support available through crisis lines and local support services.”
