LOS ANGELES — When committing adultery goes tragically wrong. Viral Crimes released the murder documentary of actress Stephanie Moseley, 30, who was shot and killed by her jealous husband, rapper Earl Hayes, after he caught her cheating with singer Trey Songz. After deleting Stephanie, Earl blew his own brains out. The murder-suicide transpired around 7:30 a.m. on December 8, 2016 at their apartment in Los Angeles. According to police reports, Earl learned Stephanie was f*ckin’ Trey and an argument ensued. As the quarrel intensified, Earl pulled out a gun and opened fire — striking Stephanie multiple times. Neighbors heard screams and called police. When officers arrived, they heard more gunshots. That’s when LAPD’s Swat team was called. When they entered the flat, they found the quondam lovebirds sprawled out on the living room floor.
Earl and Stephanie were pronounced dead at the scene.
Earl’s best friend, boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr., reportedly witnessed the shooting via FaceTime. But it wasn’t confirmed. Feeling guilty, Trey tweeted, “R.I.P. babygirl. Once an angel on earth, now watching over us from Heaven. You’ll be missed but never forgotten.” Social media reaction was wild. One commenter wrote, “Damn, I thought it was Floyd Mayweather she was having an affair with.”
Another chimed in with, “Men don’t understand that after awhile some women get tired of looking at the same dude every day.”
A third person added, “Sadly, most black women have trash taste in men. Neither one of them dudes are relationship material. Trey’s songs have a long well-documented history of raping women and domestic violence. He is literally just the R&B version of the guy she was already with.”
What’s sad is when it came to entertainment, Stephanie was a total badass.
She was a backup dancer for superstars Beyoncé, Britney Spears and Chris Brown.
She also appeared in VH1’s “Hit the Floor” and the “Hellcats” television series.
VH1 issued the following statement: “We are incredibly saddened to hear the news of the passing of Stephanie Moseley. VH1 and the entire ‘Hit The Floor’ family send our thoughts and condolences to her family and friends at this difficult time.”
Earl was no slouch either.
He worked with several artists, including Alicia Keys and The Pussycat Dolls.

I don’t know if she slept with Trey or not but she didn’t deserve to die and he didn’t either. The thing about the industry is people will laugh and party in your face and stab you in the back. He’s best friends with Floyd so of course he’s in a circle of winners. He probably was hearing rumors around the industry from people that she was low-key sleeping around and it was perhaps a lie, but it could’ve been true. These industry artists will be all in your face smiling but smashing your girl on the low. It’s the price that comes with fame and having money. A lot of well-known celebs have been through it. It’s a very unfortunate situation for them both.
