SHARPSBURG — The adventures of Pookie & Ray Ray continue. Residents of Sharpsburg, North Carolina are in mourning after DaQuan Marcato Jones, 32, murdered his baby mama, 27-year-old Kiera Massenburg, and their 6-year-old daughter — Zoey Jones — before blowing his own brains out. The double murder-suicide transpired around 5 a.m. on August 11, 2024. According to multiple reports, Kiera — a victim of domestic violence — told DaQuan she was sick and tired of being his punching bag and she wanted out of the relationship. Can’t blame her. After all, DaQuan was charged with felony assault last month for punching Kiera in the face — knocking out her teeth and breaking her nose. Damn. He was also convicted in 2019 for beating her ass and holding her hostage. Surprisingly, Edgecombe County court records show Kiera never filed a restraining order.

On the day of the massacre, a jilted DaQuan showed up at Kiera’s soirée seeking reprisal for gettin’ dumped. He determined if he couldn’t have her, nobody can. Can’t lie. Kiera was a hottie. The prepossessing redbone was blessed with a fat derrière and plump embonpoint. She turned homeboy out. Nevertheless… Despite egressing jail a few hours prior, DaQuan crashed the party, pulled out a gun and opened fire — striking Kiera and Zoey multiple times. Then he turned the weapon on himself.
DaQuan also shot two of Kiera’s friends.
Makyah Page and Devonte Ricks were both hospitalized.
But they’re gonna survive.
Telling you dawg, must be something in the water.
Because men are pummeling women as of late.

“Right now, [domestic violence] numbers are at an all-time high,” said North Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence legal director Nisha Williams.
“We are on track to outpace what we had last year.”
Christy Melvin, a domestic violence survivor-turned-advocate, echoed a homogeneous sentiment.
“We need to come together and try and stop all this senseless killing,” she bemoaned.
“These children shouldn’t be worried about if their daddy or their momma is gonna kill them. That shouldn’t be their worry.”
Social media reaction was Icy Hot.
One commenter wrote, “It’s tragic the way they died. But I find solace in knowing they are together in Heaven. She is with her baby and the baby is with her mom.💖”
Another chimed in, “They love that Thug Love. Sad how these women keep being attracted to murderous dudes.😢”
A third person added, “Stop dating these clowns and you’ll be fine.😊”
DaQuan and Kiera appeared to be the perfect couple on social media.
But, behind closed doors, it was the exact opposite.

DaQuan should have been removed from society long ago. Yet some prosecutors, activists, politicians and pundits feel he was the victim in society and kept giving him another chance to change – Kierra Massenberg and her daughter paid for this foolish worldview with their lives.

Of course, he had a lengthy record of violence towards women. And yet, women love this type.
Women, if a man physically or verbally abuses you, the survival kit is: 1.) Leave him immediately 2.)Obtain a Restraining Order & 3.) Acquire a weapon of defense; because cops mostly come after crimes are committed. Defend Yourselves for it’s only logical!!!
