PHILADELPHIA — “🎵Oh-oh, here she comes. Watch out, boy, she’ll chew you up. Oh-oh, here she comes. She’s a man-eater.🎵” Fellas, does your woman take offense to you being happy? Does she interrupt while you’re minding your own damn business? Are you convinced she’s selfish and egocentric? If so, you’re not alone. That’s because a viral TikTok video shows a hatin’ white chick lambasting men for playing video games — even if we’re employed. PlayStation be damned, it’s her assertion that simps should put down the joystick and proffer their undivided attention 24/7. Babygirl spewed such nonsense during a chinwag with the male host of a radio show on Q102 Philly. “The whole gaming thing… it’s just lazy,” the brunette vented. “It’s cool if you want to do it every so often but… [I’m like], go do something productive.” When the disc jokey asked what’s the big deal, the TikToker retorted: “It’s what you could be doing with that time. You’re enjoying it but you could be planning something nice for us.”

Ain’t that a bitch?

Social media reaction was wild. One commenter wrote, “The majority of women prefer men to be absolutely miserable. I can understand a woman’s point if the guy is doing nothing with his time but playing video games and if he’s taking money that is supposed to be for rent and utilities and using it for gaming. But if a man has a job and all he’s doing is taking 3 to 4 hours to play a video game — whether it’s by himself or with friends online — I don’t see it being a problem. Would you rather he play video games or be in a hotel f*ckin’ his side chick? Would you prefer he smoke narcotics and/or sell ’em on a street corner? Women need to grow up and get a life.”

Another chimed in with, “Hobbies women find attractive: Gambling, Alcoholism, Domestic Abuse, Drug Use, Reckless Driving, Infidelity, Theft, Fraud.”

A third viewer added, “Men could say the same thing about women being on social media all damn day. They just don’t want to see a man happy.”

What’s my take?

It’s twofold.

1) If you’re gonna be in a relationship, get with a popsy who appreciates your leisure activities. Hell… if she’s ride-or-die, she’ll probably grab a joystick and play with you. But, whatever you do, don’t compromise. After all, you can’t put a price on a peace of mind.

And, 2) Women need to start finding sh*t to do. Men have lots of hobbies. We watch and participate in sports. We enjoy video games, fishing, Pornhub, poker, blackjack, shootin’ craps, shootin’ pool, etc. What the f*ck do women do?

  10. I played games as a kid , I had a nasty smoking habit , as an adult I quit smoking and instead went back to playing video games . Which is worse smoking or playing video games ? If women don’t understand video games are a safe fun hobby , would they prefer i pound whiskey and chain smoke ?

If women find men unattractive or consider it a red flag for enjoying totally harmless things like playing video games or collecting comic books then they can get lost, I would rather be alone then to get in a relationship with someone that hates what gives me happiness and judges me for something so harmless.

My boyfriend plays video games and I’ll sit with him on the couch and watch him play ☺️ sometimes we play together but I can only play the super easy ass games that are family friendly and he will show me how to use the controller, but the games that are complex and story driven I’ll just sit back and watch him play and we chill and talk and he’ll fill me in on the story and characters.. I find it cute and wholesome lol. He doesn’t just play games 24/7 and doesn’t spend time with me, we go out on dates and have fun as well. It’s a healthy balance

  19. I have to say that I’m lucky that I have a wife that wants me to enjoy my hobbies. I play video games, watch anime, build model kits and play Table Top RPG’s with friends and doesn’t complain one bit. She has her hobbies which I support her doing as well and we were up front about these things from the start. This year is our 24th wedding anniversary. I have a friend that hid his hobbies from his wife while they were dating and it turns out she doesn’t approve of them and gives him a hard time about doing them. Be up front about your hobbies and such and if the person you are dating doesn’t like it find someone that does.

  21. The reason I don’t like video games isn’t because I don’t want my husband/sons to rest or have fun. There are just a million other ways to do that that actually provide you with a useful skill. And any skill it might provide you can be acquired in a healthier way.

    So you want a woman scrolling social media with her friends or shopping all day? No. Would you rather her cook, sew, paint, or garden? Probably.

    So, I’d suggest sports, writing, shooting, hunting, reading, hiking, music, board games, but basically anything but video games.

  28. Im a woman and i play video games and not ‘girly’ games. COD, Battlefield, DayZ, and so on.
    Ive been a gamer since i was 16 and Im 58 now.
    If a guy was gaming id be gaming with him or watching his gameplay with a pizza and beer

    Women need to stop making it all about themselves. They are jealous of the time a guy spends not with her.

  32. So men spend money on a console one time every so many years that is $500. While women spend monthly money, on fake hair, lashes, bags, and clown face paint.

    2. Can’t go hunting = Killing animals is wrong
    3. Can’t go fishing = Too boring
    4. Can’t relax/nap = I have a chore list
    5. Have to work more = you’re not home enough
    6. You’re home too much = need to work more

  35. Women hate to see men having fun, they want everything to be centered around them. No thank you I’ll stick to my games at least I can shut them off when I get annoyed with them.

  36. Video games have brought more joy than any women I’ve ever met. I can see why women hate it.
