JACKSON, Miss — “If I can’t have you, no one can.” Quondam police officer Marcus Johnson, 33, was thrown in the slammer after he killed his gay lover, 25-year-old Carlos Collins, because he dumped his ass. The homicide transpired on April 9, 2024 at Tapestry Northridge Apartments in Jackson, Mississippi. According to reports, Carlos told Marcus he was sick and tired of his bullsh*t so he’s ending their 1-year dalliance. Rather than find himself some new bussy, an armed Marcus showed up at Carlos’ apartment and fired through the door — striking him multiple times. Then the killer cop went inside, grabbed an axe, and hacked Carlos into bits ‘n’ pieces. The sanguinary ordeal was captured on a ring surveillance camera. Marcus was busted following a lengthy police chase across the state line. He’s charged with murder and shooting into an occupied dwelling.
What’s sad is Carlos walked into the police precinct several times within the past few months, telling officers that Marcus was stalking him. He eventually filed a restraining order after he woke up and descried Marcus watching him while he slept. Carlos also changed the locks and spoke to a family pastor about taking self-defense classes. “In my brother’s last months, he was living in hell dealing with Marcus,” Carlos’ sister, Alisha Hudson, told reporters.
“The Jackson Police Department mishandled his case and downplayed the situation. They didn’t care to protect my brother. They protected Marcus.”
Detectives later learned Carlos had AirTags placed on his car.
There’s also footage of Marcus pacing back and forth outside of Carlos’ apartment.
Dude was bussy-whipped.
“It was obsession, fatal attraction,” Alisha recalled.
“He didn’t want anyone else to be with my brother.”
Social media reaction was melancholic.
One commenter wrote, “I dont want no one to love me that much.”
Another chimed in with, “And they say lesbians are worse💀. I don’t think so.”
A third person added, “SUCH A LOVELY YOUNG MAN WITH A BEAUTIFUL SPIRIT. As an older black gay man, I say to my black gay brothers, please try to STOP Dealing with black bisexual men. THEY DON’T LOVE US. They only want to use us and go back and forth to rescue their egos when they have an episode with black women. As black gay men, we are too high class and go through TOO MUCH to have to deal with these low-life LOSERS!!! THANK YOU!”
Carlos was a registered nurse.
He worked at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center, where he was nominated multiple times as a top physician.
Marcus was employed with the Jackson Police Department for 8 months in 2013.
He was placed on administrative leave “pending disciplinary actions” and “resigned just prior to his termination.”
The following year, Marcus was arrested and charged with impersonating a police officer at an apartment building near Jackson State University.
While there, the deranged bisexual used another cop’s badge number and wrote a bogus citation to a sexy female student then offered her dick in exchange for dismissing the ticket.

The police never do nothing. I called, went to police station so many times when I was in the same situation. They said they couldn’t do nothing until he enters my property. That means they can’t do nothing until I’m dead. Y’all get you conceal to carry. We can not rely on the law.
I keep saying a lot of cops are dangerous to the public. You have Trump saying he like to give them more power without accountability. We don’t know how many cops walking around as serial killers and sociopaths. We have to monitor all police departments and agencies. There are some good and professional cops but we have too many that’s not.

I was in a Dv situation and after I put him in jail for putting his hands on me. I packed all my things stayed with friends for the night and moved far away to another county where he couldn’t find me. Best decision I ever made this man had people harassing me on my phone forcing me to get back with him. He kept trying to figure out where I live too. Since he couldn’t get to me this man started taking me to court trying to destroy me and send me to jail for 10 years he labeled me as the aggressor. This year my case was totally dismissed and expunged they had no evidence of his claim. Best thing to do is to move.

I once had a restraining order. It wasn’t worth the paper it was printed on. My ex violated it daily. I called the police daily. Their daily response was they couldn’t do anything unless they caught him at my house. He always left before they arrived. I was horrified when I woke one night and he was creeping thru the house. The next night before bed, I covered my whole house with dishes, glasses and utensils all over my floor so I would know if he broke in. That was on a Thursday. I quit school, my job, packed up and moved to another city that Tuesday. Havent spoken to him in 23 years.
