Cold Case: KC truck driver murdered a pair of women

KANSAS CITY — Got another cold case for ya! Gary Davis, a 53-year-old truck driver, was thrown in the slammer for the murder of 26-year-old Christina King on Christmas Day in 1998. The femicide transpired in Kansas City, Kansas — in the Quindaro neighborhood. Christina’s cadaver was found by two men looking for scrap metal behind an abandoned building near 27th & Sewell. Crime scene investigators found a used condom near the body, which insinuates Gary may have copulated with her. Christina’s daughter, April Parks, was only 10 years old when her mom was brutally deleted. She spoke to reporters during a balloon release ceremony at the crime scene. “Who did it? Why? How could they do that to such a young person? She was only 26,” April bemoaned. “Her autopsy [showed] there were so many injuries and so many abrasions and bruises.”

Coroners said Christina’s countenance was “bloody and swollen” and the autopsy states she died from “blunt force trauma to the head.” Detectives are also charging Gary with the murder of Pearl Davis (aka Sameemah Musawwir) who was found stabbed to death in her residence in 1996. Police Chief Karl Oakman believes Gary is a serial killer. “In my experience, based on him killing two women, most likely he’s killed more,” he said.

Social media reaction was in agreement.

One commenter wrote, “Gary was a truck driver. He had more than 100 victims.”

Another chimed in with, “90 percent of truckers are serial killers.”

A third person added, “Maybe they could have caught this guy sooner if they weren’t spending time busting people for dime bags!”

Gary has pleaded not guilty.

His trial begins in February.
