FORT WAYNE — The adventures of Pookie & Ray Ray continue. Dionee White, 21, was thrown in the slammer after he murdered 18-year-old Lamarion Bailey and his girlfriend, 17-year-old Adaija Okey, out of jealousy. The double homicide transpired at night on January 29, 2024 in front of a residence on Romy Avenue in Fort Wayne, Indiana. According to reports, Lamarion and Adaija were canoodling in a 2013 Hyundai when Dionee and another dude snuck up from behind and let their gats explode — striking the teen lovebirds multiple times before running away. Lamarion and Adaija were pronounced dead at the scene. Another person was sedentary in the backseat and he was astute enough to duck down to avoid gettin’ shot. During interrogation, the witness was hesitant to answer questions amid trepidation of gettin’ smoked.
But he eventually snitched and identified “D White” as one of the shooters.
Dionee was arrested and charged with two counts of murder. The other suspect has yet to be identified. Area surveillance footage shows Dionee and his accomplice parking a black Cadillac SUV in a nearby alley prior to the shooting. Adaija was a fashionista with a promising future in modeling. Lamarion, who has a criminal record, was a quondam football star-turned-rap artist.
Social media reaction was fierce.
One commenter wrote, “Babygirl had so much potential and allowed herself to be caught up with trash.🙄”
Another person chimed in with, “Why do talented girls always go for the dumbest morons in the room? Her star was rising, and his star was falling faster than the RMS Titanic.”
A third person added, “She got caught up in her boyfriend’s mess and ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time. We all love our bad boys, but it’s important to be careful out in these streets.”
Prior to gettin’ shot, Lamarion and Adaija were pulled over multiple times by police.
They had contretemps with one of the officers that was caught on bodycam.
“Can I ask you why you’re searching my vehicle?” Adaija asked.
“If you let me talk… please don’t interrupt me,” the cop replied.
“It’s so much sh*t going on [and] y’all continue to pull me over. Y’all gay as f*ck,” Lamarion said.
“I’m not gay. Y’all gay. I’m not gay. I like dudes,” the cop retorted.
“You like dudes. I know you’re gay as f*ck,” Lamarion countered.
“Ask your dad. We had dinner last week, then we f*cked,” the cop responded.
“N*gga gay, bro. Y’all gay as hell,” Lamarion mumbled.

This guy was ignorant and this beautiful sweet young lady could’ve done much better than this childish guy. She behaved in a very respectful manner and tried to request that he shut up. The police may have been harassing them which we all know happens everyday but his attitude speaks volumes. My question would be who’s raising these young people? She never should’ve involved herself with this bum. Lastly, the word of God says life and death lies in the power of the tongue. Listening to the lyrics of this guys rap is appalling and the very thing he rapped about is what backfired on his own life. I hate she was a victim along with this guy. Be careful who you associate and spend your time with because it can literally cost you your life.

Tragic….I’m not victim blaming, but his recklessness and total disregard for life is unsettling. There’s power in the tongue. He died the same way he causally rapped about taking someone else’s life. She had a promising life cut short because of who she associated with 💔.
That’s what these young girls like. She probably didn’t care that he was a football player. She probably cared that he was a rapper.
