33. Maybe I’m confused but, what has Viola Davis done in her career to make ANYONE think she could be a action star in the same style as Die Hard? The last role I saw her in that made me a believer was Suicide Squad as Amanda Waller. The film sucked ass but I liked her in it. Is this how Queen Latifah got the lead in The Equalizer series? DEI at work for the negative? Which is horrid especially after seeing what Denzel Washington did with the Antoine Fuqua Equalizer trilogy. At least he proved he could lead an action film after Safe House, The Book of Eli and Man on Fire. Hey, I actually like a lot of Queen Latifah’s earlier work but The Equalizer is a “hell to the no.” Angela Bassett would have been a better choice if she was willing and G20 was made 10 to 15 years earlier. Then again she was in Olympus Has Fallen so I dunno. I still have flashbacks of Angela Bassett in Strange Days though…the only Storm I ever wanted. So what comes next, a new X-Men film with Roseanne Barr as the White Queen and RuPaul as Xavier? Why is this madness happening? Why?

Some actresses , Cynthia Rothrock and Michelle Yeoh to name a couple, were kicking men’s asses in movies way back in the early 90’s and nobody complained. Why is it such a big deal now?
