SHREVEPORT — The adventures of Pookie & Ray Ray continue. Donald White, 30, was thrown in the slammer after he shot and killed his ex-girlfriend, 29-year-old Jasmine Johnson, and her elderly mother, 70-year-old Joan Johnson, because he couldn’t handle rejection. The double-femicide transpired on January 14, 2024 in Shreveport, Louisiana. According to multiple reports, Jasmine — a victim of domestic violence — called the police on Donald last August after he beat her ass. The single mom of three was pregnant at the time, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On the day of the murders, Donald showed up at Jasmine’s residence unannounced — begging her to take him back. When she refused, Donald (who was armed) kicked in the door and opened fire — striking Jasmine and Joan multiple times. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
An inebriated Donald, high on pills, also shot another dude who Jasmine was reportedly f*ckin.’
Homeboy survived, but he’s hospitalized in critical condition.
The next day, Donald was arrested and charged with a plethora of crimes which include two counts of second-degree murder, one count of attempted second-degree murder, outstanding warrants for aggravated domestic abuse, two counts of domestic abuse, aggravated assault with child endangerment, domestic battery with a dangerous weapon, domestic abuse upon a pregnant victim, aggravated criminal property damage, and a partridge in a pear tree.
He’s facing a million years in prison.
“The Shreveport Police Department would like to remind the public that domestic violence situations are dangerous. We encourage friends, family members, neighbors, and anyone who knows an individual who is the victim of domestic violence to reach out to the Shreveport Police Department. We will help,” the Shreveport Police Department said in a statement. “There are many advocacy groups in Shreveport that will help.”
Social media reaction was vicious.

Jasmine was a pharmacy tech with a promising future in medicine.
She dated Donald even though she knew he had a rap sheet comparable to Charles Manson’s.

Some of these females keep choosing to be in a relationship with broken, damaged men and will procreate with them. They choose to ignore the red flags, thinking they can save and change him, but only end up losing their own selves in the process.
