INDIANAPOLIS — The adventures of Pookie & Ray Ray continue. Raymond Childs III, 17, was thrown in the slammer after he murdered his entire family because he didn’t want a spanking. Kid you not. The massacre transpired on January 24, 2021 at the family’s split-level house in Indianapolis, Indiana. According to police reports, Raymond — an aspiring rapper — took the family car without permission. When the teen finally returned home, his father threatened to beat his ass. That’s when Raymond grabbed an assault rifle and methodically went room-to-room — shooting everybody in sight. The victims are his 42-year-old father Raymond Childs, his 42-year-old mother Kezzie, his 13-year-old sister Rita, his 18-year-old brother Elijah, and his pregnant 19-year-old girlfriend Kiara Hawkins who was “supposed to be having a baby next week.” As soon as he heard bullets flying, Raymond’s 15-year-old brother Xavier ran out the house as fast as he could into the freezing darkness.
Rather than show mercy, Raymond chased him down and shot him twice.
As he laid in the snow, writhing in pain, a bloodied Xavier told investigators he begged for his life. “I can give you forty dollars, please don’t kill me,” he pleaded. “He just looked at me and then he shot me in the leg. He shot me in my arm. And then he tried to shoot me in the head but missed, I guess.” Raymond was arrested and charged with 6 counts of murder, one count of attempted murder, and one count of carrying a handgun without a license. In lieu of the death penalty, he’ll spend the rest of his miserable existence in prison.
Social media reaction was fierce.
One commenter wrote, “Blame rap music.”
Another chimed in with, “Where are all the red pill losers claiming having fathers in the home solves all of society’s ills?”
A third person added, “Sh*t like THIS is why I watch family just as closely as I would an enemy. You don’t know what be on people’s minds these days.”

As a kid, I certainly didn’t enjoy getting my ass whooped.
