LOS ANGELES — First, Cardi B. Now this. You can stick a fork in Jennifer Lopez’s marriage because it’s done. Yessir. “Jenny from the Block” and actor Ben Affleck are calling it quits after two years of holy matrimony. J.Lo, 55, filed dissolution documents in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Tuesday, citing irreconcilable differences. This is hardly a surprise because, in America, roughly 90% percent of divorces are initiated by women. Surprisingly, there’s no prenuptial agreement in place. J.Lo and Ben, 52, thought they’d be together forever so there was no desire to draft one. In hindsight, that’s a huge mistake and the U.S. Government has already declared their earnings and profits “community property.” Court docs state the estranged couple has been legally separated since April 26, 2024. J.Lo waived her rights to alimony and she’s imploring Ben to do the same.
The quondam lovebirds don’t have kids together. Therefore, child support and custodial arrangements won’t be needed. Their $68 million mansion in Beverly Hills is currently up for sale. Now, the judge has to figure out what to do with their pecuniary resources. Since they got hitched in July 2022, Ben has starred in “Air” and “Hypnotic” and he just finished filming “The Accountant 2.”
J.Lo did “Shotgun Wedding,” “This Is Me… Now: A Love Story,” and “Atlas.”
Ben has a net worth of $400 million.
Ditto for J.Lo.
Social media reaction was wild.

If you recall, they said “I do” in Las Vegas around midnight after waiting in line with 4 other couples.

He told her he didn’t want their relationship to be in the spotlight this time. So she made an album, movie and docudrama about their love.
