LINCOLN — 🎵”Just a gigolo and everywhere I go, people know the part I’m playing.”🎵 Law enforcement officials are investigating after porn star Jay Hefner (né Saiveon Hopkins) was killed in cold blood. The homicide transpired around 1:30 a.m. on September 8, 2024 outside a popular discotheque in Lincoln, Nebraska. According to Assistant Police Chief Jason Stille, Jay — who moonlighted as a rapper — was in town visiting family. He and his cousin went to a birthday celebration downtown where they encountered a hater who started talkin’ sh*t and assaulting people. A bout of fisticuffs ensued and the cousin got involved. As soon as Jay stepped in to intervene, the malefactor pulled out a gun and opened fire — striking him in the chest. Jay was transported to the hospital where he died a few hours later. A male patron in his 40s was also shot.
But his injuries aren’t life-threatening.
Jay’s family set up a GoFundMe account for interment expenses because he didn’t have life insurance.
Social media reaction was wild.
One commenter wrote, “Meanwhile, Trump’s still alive. Life is so unfair.”
Another chimed in with, “He died because of his own sins, and we all know his fate in the afterlife.”
A third person added, “A PORN star with a long dick 🌭 was killed, and his family was proud of him even though he had no money for his funeral.”
Jay’s sexy girlfriend, Madeline Murchisonn, disseminated a rambling encomium via Instagram. “My whole heart in human form. I can’t believe that I have to write this we had so much planned,” she wrote. “I love you so much Saiveon. I’m lost for words. When your mom called I instantly broke down. I’ve never felt this type of hurt and honestly idk how to get through it. Any little thing I’d call you, you were my safe place no matter what we were going through you’d make sure to call me every night and fall asleep on the phone & tell me everything was going to be okay. You showed me love I’ve never experienced and I’m beyond grateful for you. This one hurts. My heart is completely broken. You always made sure to put a smile on my face even when i was trynna be fake mad! When I’m with you, I felt safe and untouchable. Im gonna miss your funny pictures you’d take of me while im sleeping just staring at me, waiting [for me to] wake up to see my reaction, your long paragraphs knowing I’m a woman of few words, you made sure to vocalize your love every single day. Gonna miss your drunk calls, ur funny voicemails if i didn’t answer, your voice, smell, touch & just everything about you. I could go on and on but there’s absolutely no words that can explain the love i have for you… Rest up I’ll make sure you’re never forgotten ❤️🩹 Forever us.”
Jay leaves behind a 10-month-old daughter.
