CLINTON — The adventures of Pookie & Ray Ray continue. Malachi Pressley, 19, was thrown in the slammer after he murdered his ex-girlfriend, 18-year-old MyAngel Walker, because she dumped his ass. Taylor Kinard, 19, was also incarcerated for being an accessory to the crime. The femicide transpired on December 11, 2024 in Clinton, South Carolina. According to reports, MyAngel — a victim of domestic violence — told Malachi she was sick and tired of being his punching bag and she wanted out of the relationship. A bout of contretemps ensued. As the argument intensified, Malachi pulled out a gun and opened fire — striking MyAngel multiple times. Then Malachi called Taylor and she helped him get rid of the body. The next day, when MyAngel didn’t report to work, family members filed a missing persons report to spark an investigation. On Friday the 13th, MyAngel’s cadaver was found inside a burned vehicle in Greenwood County. Malachi was arrested and charged with murder.

Taylor was arrested and charged with being an accessory after the fact. “She had knowledge of it and she helped,” Clinton Police Chief Michael Addison told reporters. MyAngel’s mother, Sade Woodruff, admitted she knew her daughter was being abused. “Anybody that’s going through any type of domestic dispute, being abused, anything, get away. If you are able, get away,” she said.

Social media reaction was vicious.

One commenter wrote, “STOP DEALING WITH THOSE GODDAMN POOKIES!😑”

Another person added, “She was dumb. She chose him. You are who you hang around.”

MyAngel, who graduated earlier this year, was an outstanding basketball player with aspirations of becoming a nurse.

Malachi is a no good bum who played the Grinch who stole her Christmas… and her life.

“Everything I’ve heard of MyAngel has been, ‘She was a very bright young lady with a very good heart,’ and this is a tragedy that should not happen,” said Laurens Police Chief Heath Copeland.

“But we’re glad that we were able to get justice for the family really quickly here.”
