LOS ANGELES — “🎵No, you’re never gonna get it. Never ever gonna get it. No, you’re never gonna get it. Never ever gonna get it.🎵” A viral video shows En Vogue’s Dawn Robinson revealing she’s been homeless and living in her car the past three years. Confidentiality be damned, Dawn put her destitution on blast via YouTube. “People are like, ‘You shouldn’t talk about it, because you’re a celebrity, and what if they judge you?” said the 58-year-old songstress. “So what if they judge me? Life is life. . . . part of being human is being vulnerable. You guys, for the past three years, I have been living in my car. I said it, oh my gosh, it’s out.” Dawn lived with her parents in Las Vegas for 5 years. But her mom was such an asshole, she decided to take shelter in her automobile. “I felt free,” she said. “It was so different. I felt like I was on a camping trip. It just felt like it was the right thing to do.”

Dawn performed alongside En Vogue members Cindy Herron, Terry Ellis and Maxine Jones.

Their song “Hold On” won the award for ‘Top R&B Single’ at the 1990 Billboard Music Awards.

Dawn had a bunch of money.

But, somehow, lost it all.

Social media reaction was wild. One commenter wrote, “She has no one to blame but herself. She can’t get along with anybody. Her ex-husband, manager, her own mother and her bandmates. She’s the problem.” Another chimed in with, “Nobody from En Vogue reached out to help her. Tells us all we need to know.” A third person added, “Damn. What’s f*cked up is because of Trump, she can’t get food stamps or section 8.”

Surprisingly, Dawn doesn’t regret being a vagrant.

For what it’s worth, being homeless has made her a better person.

“I’m learning who I am as a person, as a woman,” she explained.

“We say we can’t do certain things before we even know that we’re capable. . . . I’m glad that I made this choice, because I needed to go through this fire.”

Do you feel sorry for Dawn?

Should she get a job like everybody else?

  1. She’ll be alright. In a few years she can get her social security. God is with her. Amen 🙏

  2. She is so talented. Someone in the business who worked with her when she was on top needs to reach out to her NOW. Put her on their next album. She’s amazing!

  3. Damn in her prime Dawn was Bad AF she is a legend, get back with En Vogue and get back on tour but it seems like she burnt down a lot of bridges they’re probably not interested at all

  4. Shes delusional trying to normalize her predicament! Still trying to figure life out at her age is sad! Living and fighting with her parents while in her late 50’s is abhorrent

  5. See, I don’t understand…… Because if this is the case, then why not tour with the group and get paid enough money to change this situation?

Man idk,…. but I just pray that her situation gets better… This is unbelievable 😔🙏🏾

  6. A lot of women have homeless problems because they refuse to settle for anything less then a top 10 dude

  7. No disrespect, but why didn’t she buy a house when she made all that money?

  8. I wish she would have stayed with her parents, im pretty sure they wouldn’t have mind helping her out, where’s her celebrity friends? When you are down they are supposed to help you until you get back on your feet

  9. She’s actually smart. Leave all materialism behind and become humble. As long as she keep God first, she will be just fine.

  10. SOUNDS LIKE LAZINESS. IT’S A REASON WHY THEY KICKED HER OUT OF EN’ VOGE
